The Gates is an American supernatural crime drama television series which premiered on ABC on June 20, 2010.
The Tv Show “The Gates” is the latest entry in the vampire craze that has overtaken the visual media in recent years, and perhaps unsurprisingly, it brings nothing new to the table.
It’s fitting that the show is set within the confines of a gated community, a society completely sheltered from the problems of the real world where private sector police monitor every street corner and every backyard with 24/7 surveillance, kids are schlepped off to exclusive schools, and nobody comes and goes without passing through the massive, wrought-iron gates. The Gates Season 1 Episode 1 Pilot
The Monohan family move into their new home in The Gates, an exclusive community of perfectly manicured lawns and friendly neighbors. But things grow complicated when Nick Monohan, the new Chief of Police, has to investigate those neighbors in a missing persons case during his first day on the job. Claire and Dylan Radcliff fight to hide not only their involvement in Nick’s case, but their rather unusual family secret. Meanwhile, Charlie Monohan tries to adjust to his new school, finding a friend in the beautiful but unavailable Andie Bates. Ron overhears the boys getting a Father’s Day for their dad, thinking they meant him (when they really meant their biological father). Ron (who grew up not celebrating Father’s Day) goes all out for the holiday, getting a video game for the boys and arranging a barbecue inviting everyone he meets. Ron then learns the truth and makes a fool of himself at the barbecue. Meanwhile, the Boys discuss what they should say to their imprisoned father, when he is given a ten-minute phone call.

Sons of Tucson Season 1 Episode 6 The Debate Trip
Gary needs Ron to drive him to his debate meet in Flagstaff because there’s no room in his teammate’s carpool. When Angela discovers Brandon and Robby abandoned after they leave, she imposes her babysitting services, which doesn’t sit well with Brandon. Brandon makes an excuse and leaves to fend for himself, getting in over his head, while Robby, comfortable with the Gunderson lifestyle, clashes with Angela’s attempts at traditional mothering. On the trip, Ron discovers that Gary’s teammates can’t stand him, even lying about the room in the carpool, and confronts him with the information after they fight.
