Stan and Francine celebrate their twentieth wedding anniversary, and Roger, under the guise of wedding planner Jeanie Gold, takes over the planning of a vow-renewal ceremony. However, Francine, after learning that Stan only married her for her looks, stops her regular beauty regimen for two weeks and becomes incredibly unattractive. Stan reacts by running out on the expensive ceremony. The two of them attempt to make their marriage work, but Stan finds it difficult to see past Francine’s appearance, so she throws him out. In desperation, he has his retinas removed, rendering him completely blind.
